Pokémon GO Deepens a Beautiful Mother-Son Bond This Christmas

A recently surfaced Reddit post from the mother of a 7-year-old boy has overwhelmed the gaming community. The boy has lately found his interest in Pokémon Go this Christmas. His mother has downloaded the game on her phone and they have spent a beautiful Christmas morning walking together capturing Pokémon.

However, after a point, they were completely out of Pokeballs, quite naturally. That’s when the mother started searching for a way to get more Pokeballs as her son was having so much fun while capturing the colorful Pokemons.

She tried herself for a while and after figuring out a few things about the game, she asked for help from the gaming community. Just one post and comments along with hearts full of love started pouring in the comment section from the gamers: “Spin the Pokestops (the blue circular towers). That’s the best way. Also, make friends and open gifts they send you.”

After seeing the heartfelt effort of the mother to keep her child happy, another parent has also shared his experience. Their 8-year-old has recently become engrossed in the game. The child’s enthusiasm has motivated the entire household to embark on Pokémon walks almost every day, contributing positively to their physical exercise routine. In an effort to enhance their gaming experience, they discovered an old Samsung S9, which was fully wiped and lacked a cellular plan. To make it functional, it relies on the mobile hotspot from the primary phone. This setup allows both parent and child to enjoy playing the game together.

Pokémon GO Deepens a Beautiful Mother-Son Bonding This Christmas

Another parent has beautifully explained to the mother how she can be of help in various phases of the game while her son might not be able to stay awake: “You can duo so many more raids than you can solo. You can use party power in raids! You can mirror trade! An extra benefit as an adult is remote raids at night when kiddo is in bed so I can present him with a cool legendary/ultrabeast/mythical I sourced overnight to trade him if he hasn’t been able to get a raid for one. Makes his day!”
