A new chapter in the Seasonal Special Research story will be available during the event. Trainers can complete various tasks to earn valuable rewards, including Golden Razz Berries, Kubfu Candy, and encounters with event-themed Pokemon. This Special Research is free to claim from Tuesday, March 4, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 9:59 a.m. local time.
Special Research Opportunity in Pokemon GO Stunning Styles
A free Special Research story, A Striking Shadow, launches on April 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Trainers who complete this research will have the chance to encounter the Mythical Pokemon Marshadow. There’s no deadline to complete this research, allowing players to work through it at their own pace. Trainers who have already accessed the Pokemon GO Fest 2024-exclusive Special Research will receive Marshadow Candy instead.
Boosted Bonuses and Increased Shiny Rates
During the event, Trainers can take advantage of increased rewards:

Throughout the event, certain Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild. Castform will be influenced by the weather, and different forms of Burmy will also be common.

Three-Star Raids
- Paldean Tauros (Combat, Blaze, and Aqua Breeds in their respective locations)

Rockruff obtained in raids has the potential to evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc under the right conditions.
